Nick started his career as a Financial Adviser with the Pru back in 1995. He has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry including Barclays and HSBC. As an experienced adviser Nick is passionate about providing quality advice to his clients based on trust and understanding their needs. Aged 47 Nick is a keen road cyclist and family man.
Neil graduated from The University of Huddersfield in 1998 with a degree in Business Administration. In 1998 he joined Swiss Life in Merseyside to specialise in Employee Benefit provision with a particular focus on group risk. In 2004 he left the firm and joined HSBC Bank in a Wealth Relationship role. The passion for clear, concise and understandable advice was born and in 2007 Neil joined Santander where he was a Client Relationship Manager covering branches in South Manchester and Cheshire until 2013. Neil lives in Stockport with his two children. He is a keen rugby player and enjoys watching and playing sport of any kind when he can, he is also interested in Politics. Neil joined Cheetham Jackson in 2014 to set up the Sale office with his colleague Nick Johns.
A former Royal Marines officer and security consultant, Phil switched to a new career in Financial Services in 2009. Initially qualifying and working as a mortgage adviser and then subsequently moving to Key Retirement Solutions where he spent 5 years advising retired people on equity release products, as well as specialising in long term care fees planning. Keen to expand into full independent financial advice, in his own time, Phil then completed his Diploma in Financial Advice in 2013. Sharing Cheetham Jackson’s beliefs and values, Phil jumped at the chance to join them in February 2015. He is happily married with two grown up children and is a massive rugby fan.
New to the financial sector, with 95% of her working life spent in the construction sector working for companies in Manchester, London and Swindon. As well as working as a team secretary for these companies, Karen has spent 6 years working for a construction consultancy in Sale as their Bid Administrator, responsible for the preparation and issue of the company’s tender submissions.
Karen is married to Gary with 3 grown up, sports-mad sons, meaning she has had little choice but to develop an interest in watching sport, whether it be stood on a touchline or basketball court or watching TV! Karen loves to spend time with her family, preferably on a beach somewhere, with a pile of books to keep her occupied.
Lorraine Moran is new to the financial sector recently joining Cheetham Jackson in March 2018. Originally qualifying as an Accounting Technician Lorraine has over 20 years experience in business administration, owning and running her own hairdressing salons in Warrington. Lorraine covered all aspects of business administration, accounting, payroll and staff management in her previous career.
Lorraine is a friendly and approachable person with a desire to help people. Since being appointed as Client Fulfilment at Cheetham Jackson in March 2018, her main focus is on gaining greater experience in her role and the industry and helping to contribute to the continued success of the team in Warrington.
Lorraine lives locally in Stockton Heath with her partner and her two children, where they enjoy the lively lifestyle of the village.
Amy has over six years’ experience in Financial Services including banking and insurance following graduation from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Studies and Economics. Keen to develop herself she began her Diploma in her own time while for First Direct Bank.
Amy lives near the office in Stockton Heath, she has an active social life and enjoys painting, swimming and walking. Since being appointed as a Financial Adviser at Cheetham Jackson in July 2018, her main focus is understanding what is important to her clients and keeping things simple.
